On The Road...

Hi everyone, Becky here today with the last of our anything goes summer break posts. This little cutie arrived yesterday, and I just had to ink her up immediately ;)

I've coloured Tilda in with Distress Markers, Refills and Pads, glamour dust has been added for sparkle with a few liquid pearls too.

I've used Pion Designs Vintage Garden Blue Ornament papers, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain.

I've made a triangle joy fold card, it was so much fun to make.

Close up of the image, she is just so sweet.

Hugs,

Becky xx

Sweet Angels

Hello Everyone,

Well I'm off on my little holiday today, the weather has cooled but I really don't mind, it will be a nice break with some fun along the way too.

This week is the last week the team will be following a more relaxed theme of Anything Goes whilst we have our little holidays.  I have made an Easel card and these style of cards are never easy to get a good picture but I can tell you that in real life, I absolutely love how it has turned out and really for me its not as fussy as usual, so my style had a little holiday too.

I have taken advantage again of the anything goes theme and designed another Christmas Card.  I have used one of those gorgeous black and white Vintage Angel images from Inkido and framed them using the wonderful new Marianne Design Vintage Dies.  I have actually used two, Petra's Bridge and Petra's Fence, aren't they amazing.

The beautiful papers are by Maja Design, I do love Maya papers, I could drool for hours over these but alas I have to cut into them at some point, all links as usual are at the bottom of the post.  I have edged with weathered wood distress ink using the blending tool, I think I actually use this tool every time I made a card in some way, shape or form, definitely a very handy little tool.  I have also added some shabby white frantage and I think this looks fabulous normally but even more so on your christmas cards.

I used the Tim Holtz Holly die for the holly leaves, added some weathered wood distress ink and a touch of the shabby white frantage, don't the leaves look cool. I also added a pine cone and some Kort and Godt berries to the centre but gave both the berries and the cone some Gesso treatment for that wintery feel.

Because I knew it would be difficult to shut because of the depth of my cone/berry arrangement I added a 1cm spine into the crease of the card.  Because of this the card lent itself to being photographed in this way, you learn something new every day, lol.

So this is how it looks folded and below is a picture of how it looks opened.  I added a little pocket and slot a tag into, finished off with some of Sandy's magical Vintage Seam Binding, a must have.

Here's a close up of the holly leaves arrangement.

And here's a close up of those sweet Angels.  I know lots of you start your Christmas cards off in July and this sheet will help you make them a lot quicker and with a beautiful result.

The snowflake border was made using the Whimsy Snowflake Die, again another of my favourite dies.

Hugs Tracy x

Only Two Cherry Tips...

Hey hey hey, it's me Elin again ;)
At the moment I am on vacation, enjoying lazy days with my family and friends up in North Norway and MAN it's good <3

This week we are running with the"Anything goes" theme here at LLC, and it's always a joy to create when this theme comes along. This time I have made a babycard with Pion Design's latest collection Vintage Garden:
My card is as always made on a paperbag, and the top is punched with a lovely Martha Stewart punch.
My motive is a digi I found on Etsy, and as mentioned I have used Pion's paper this week. They were a bit too sharp in their colour to go with this image, so I have added rather much distress ink and gesso.
I have made a frame around my motive with a spellbinder die, and I found it really amusing to use something a bit different than a baby picture as main motive for a baby card.
And this English sentiment, which I had never heard before, is so adorable <3
All the lovely laces are from the LLC store, as are the cute hortensias from Kort&Godt. I have even let the cheesecloth come back for this card ;) It's been on a holiday here, I have not used it for a while now.
The text strip I -as always- created on my computer; it says "congratulations on the baptism day".
The yummy pearls are from Inkido, and I still adore the rhinestones lace.
I have added a shabby seam binding bow and the lovely "Greta Garbo" lace on the top of my card, along with a rose.

Hugs & Kisses

A very Good Morning Everyone,
It's Sandy here to post Tina's Inspirational Card for this week.
Here at LLC we're doing a casual month, so that the DT Members get to enjoy Summer; we're posting every second day and for the rest of this month we have the laid back theme of "Anything Goes".

Here's Tina's Summery Card:
Tina has used the gorgeous sheet "Strolling Down the Rose Path" from Maja Design's Limited Edition Collection "Sofiero". The complete LLC Design Team are in looooooove with this collection, and to quote Tina "it's a must for anyone who loves vintage and shabby chic"!

Here's a full view of the card on the gorgeous Melissa Frances Hanger.
As expetced, the hangers sold out very quickly, but restocks have arrived today, so they'll be available for ordering on the website later today.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Strolling down the rose path

Hi there LLC lovers!
Its me, Louise here with you today.
Its been a while, Ive missed you all. Im busy enjoying summer though so its good I keep busy ;)  As I have finished this post we are all going to the beach. I looooove summer!

Speaking of summer I think my inspirational card is quit summer like, don't you? At LLC our july theme is anything goes still but we were all invited to use digital stamps by Crafts and me and I chose to work with this utterly gorge mermaid called Sheriella. She is inked with my Copics.

The papers are just...well......Im experiencing a lack of speech here because I really cant explain how much I adore them! They are from Maja Designs latest collection called Sofiero. I used two 12*12 sheets, called "Strolling down the rose path" and then the backside of "Enjoying the lovely fragrance". The roses are divine I tell you! I have sooooo many sheets at home ;)
I ve also tried using the mermaid charm for the first time, its so cute! Of course I have created a gallery with pictures of all products Ive used for you, as always you can find it at the end of this posting.

I hope you like my make and find it inspiring, now I need to head out for some fun in the sun!

Be sure to check back on tuesday when my beloved teamie Tina is back to sweep you of your feet!
Lots of love,

Bride and Groom

Hello ladies!!  I'm back with another vintage card for LLC!  I hope you have been enjoying all the gorgeous pieces the DT have been showcasing using new digital images from Crafts and Me.  This image is called "Bride and Groom" but you must see some of the other amazing images.  I could have played with ALL of them!!

I've always thought these papers from Pion Designs were so pretty.  It's an older collection but new to me and I love those deep burgundy colors.  I had chosen these papers but then some new ones showed up in the mail when I was starting it.  I resisted temptation and carried on with my original plan.  LOL!!

Don't you just love this clay heart? I misted my Kort and Godt flower using blackberry Glimmer Mist and even added some nice berry pins to finish off the bouquet.

The Melissa Frances resin pieces are called "I Thee Wed".  I distressed the edges a bit with cocoa Momento ink for a nice vintage feel.

And last but not least, this gorgeous GORGEOUS lace!!  YUM-MEY!!  I used a Magnolia Doohickey for a layer of cardstock lace between the two pieces of cloth lace for some added texture.

Well that's all I have to show for today!  Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed my project.  Have a great weekend!
